Japanese Antique Table, Table Primitive Wabi Sabi Mingei

About the Item

Very old Japanese primitive style table. Simple design with a single board on two pedestals. The planks are made of Japanese horse chestnut. The pedestal is cedar wood. The material itself is very unique and extremely rare. The top board is a single piece of wood. Since it was used as a workbench, there are marks of sewing work on the surface of the top board. The atmosphere of aged wood is very beautiful. This is a very rare piece of Japanese furniture with a wabi-sabi aesthetic.
