Japanese Antique Large Black Mizuya Tansu / Cabinet Cupboard 1868-1912s WabiSabi

About the Item

It is an old Japanese cupboard called "Mizuya Tansu". "Mizuya" means a place that deals with water, a kitchen. In the old kitchen, it was a cabinet to store the necessary tableware related to food work. It seems to be around the Meiji period, which was used in the Tohoku region of Japan. The ingredients are pine and cedar. The upper and lower rows can be used separately as sideboards and counters. It has a presence just by placing it, and the jet-black black matches the modern interior. Weight: 100 kg Upper W1770 d580 h860 40kg Lower part W1770 d580 h945 60kg
