This Delft Chinoiserie is a made after the Chinese Wanli dish
The border with large panels with a figure alternated with stylized tulips separated by narrow panels and in the center a landscape with a figure.
Diameter: 13.4 inches - 34 cm
Condition: The dish has at the rim glaze loss, chips and superficial wear which is typical of this type of Delftware.
Delftware or Delft pottery is also known as Delft Blue.
Delftware includes pottery objects of all descriptions such figurines, plates, vases and other ornamental forms and tiles.
The start of the Delft style was around 1600.
