About the Item
Vintage vase for flowers. The vase was made at the H. Bequet porcelain factory from hard faience.
For decoration, an overglaze decal, hand-painted in gold, is used. Manufactured in 1950s.
A porcelain vase with an exquisite floral pattern will be a wonderful addition to the interior of your home and will highlight its individuality.
It will delight you with its appearance and remind you of the high quality of workmanship and traditions of Belgian porcelain art.
Bequet started making ceramic pieces in the late 1920s and opened its own factory in 1934 at Quregnon. It closed in 1982 but had its heyday in 1960s.
He is best known for his colorful high quality ceramic pieces with gold rims and elaborate decoration.
