This is a very small antique snuff pot. A Chinese, carved marble lidded jar, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900. Endearingly petite, with appealing carved appearance Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order Hand-carved yellow marble presents warm cream hues Naive foliate carvings adorn the bulbous body Diminutive domed lid accentuated with flower motif This is a fascinating antique snuff pot, being wonderfully discrete in proportion.
