Worn by a well-to-do young Parisian at her debutante ball, which included a pre-party on a Seine-docked yacht. The convertible halter neck adds real-world practicality, but the jaw-dropping changeante color and Elizabethan-style skirt elevate this gown to the realm of myth. Vintage halter neck evening gown with petal bustline and flexible boning at front and rear bodice. Massive full skirt with double self cords at mid-thigh, creating a flexible exterior hoop effect and substantial fullness even without a petticoat. Micro pintucks around full circumference of skirt beneath lowermost cord; side metal zipper closure with top hook and eye.
