This Jean Allen London vintage maxi dress comes straight from the 1970s hippie era and it shows. Beautiful romantic balloon sleeves on this brown printed maxi dress. It features a tie detail on the front and a beautiful wide waistband. The body is lined all the way to the bottom but the balloon sleeves are left unlined so their volume can be enjoyed. The print placement is gorgeously done. BRAND DESCRIPTION The Jean Allen brand originated in the 1950s in London and was a London model house, similar to Frank Usher and Susan Small. They made beautiful dresses for reasonable prices but eventually lost customers to the high street boom of the late seventies.
