Hermès "Alternateur" Turquoise Double Face Scarf by Pierre Péron, 2022. "Alternateur", or french for alternator or the electric generator that produces electrical current, was designed by Pierre Péron and was originally designed in 1971. The design itself depicts the 270-ton machine alternator from the MId-Century Modern era in a kaleidoscopic design with vibrant intertwining colors of turquoise and blue. This particular scarf is a re-issue from 2022 and is the first scarf by Hermès that is printed on both sides. Rare blue color way in excellent condition with hand rolled edges.
