A Monumental French Patinated Bronze Bust of William Shakespeare, after Houdon, by F. Barbedienne Foundry, circa 1870. Masterfully and realistically sculpted in solid bronze, this bust will place very well as a centerpiece in any home or library. Signed Houdon and F. Barbedienne Fondeur. 27" high x 18" wide x 9" deep Very good condition, no damages noted. Normal wear consistent with age and use, minor rubbing to patina in some areas.
