About the Item

A fine cast patinated bronze bust of a woman with her hair tied back by American artist Andrew Coppola (1941-1992). Coppola was an active artist in Connecticut, known for his figural sculptures. This bust is monogrammed on the base AC, dated ‘65 and a limited edition 2 of 3. It is also marked with the foundry’s name “Modern Art Fdry”. Includes a photocopy of this sculpture in a 1974 solo exhibition booklet at the Slater Memorial Museum at the Norwich Free Academy. Dimensions: Bronze: 15 in H x 14 in W x 10 in D; Overall with custom wooden and Marble Plinth: 56.5 in H x 15 in W x 10 in D. Ref: 216
