About the Item
Neo-Expressionist Linear Geometric Abstract #2 - In the Style of Basquiat
Dynamic contemporary Neo-Expressionist abstract composition in red, yellow, black, and teal by California artist Peter Costello (American, 1948-2019). Linear and geometric forms are scribbled within the bounds of a black rectangle, in the energetic and often chaotic street-art style made famous by Jean-Michel Basquiat. This piece was created with a combination of pastel and acrylic paint on paper. Working in a variety of settings looking for a fresh and contemporary accent, this piece would particularly pop in a minimalist urban apartment or office setting.
Unsigned. Presented in a cream mat with a wood frame and glass. Image size: 28.88"H x 24"W
