Denise Driscoll
"Kinship 1", abstract, ovals, webs, bubbles, blue, green, red, acrylic painting

2020

About the Item

Denise Driscoll's "Kinship 1" is a 24 x 16 inch abstract painting on canvas of an energetic tumble of bright color including sapphire blue, olive green, red violet and coral. Irregular ovals overlap and intersect to create webs and bubbles of connection and interaction. Tangles of surprising color invite the eye to linger. This painting continues across the gallery-wrapped sides and is signed on the reverse. Denise Driscoll is a contemporary painter exploring interconnection through meditative pattern. Her paintings are visual labyrinths that invite prolonged gazing. Driscoll's work has been shown throughout New England and is in corporate and private collections. Driscoll is represented by Fountain Street Gallery in Boston, MA.
