This charming watercolour shows local villagers helping collect the last of the hay before the weather turns. A large horse drawn cart can be seen in the foreground with a heavy load, while the last of the hay is raked into manageable rows. The watercolour has been signed by the artist to the lower left. Well-presented in an elegant gilt-effect frame with acanthus and rose details. On paper.
