Erotic Drawing n. 17 is an original black China ink drawing on "British" ivory-colored paper. Hand-signed "Vertés" in black China ink on the lower right margin.
In excellent conditions: as good as new. Passepartout included: cm 34 x 49.
Amazing and very interesting drawing, representing two female nudes: one woman is on all fours, while the other is lying on a chair.
Marcel Vertès, also called Marcell Vértes (Hungary, 1895 – 1961) was a French costume designer and a popular illustrator of Hungarian origins. He won the Best Art Director and the Best Costume Design (Academy Awards) for his movie “Moulin Rouge” in 1952.
